Mema Smith's Garlic and Clam Pasta

2 Tbs olive oil
4 cloves minced garlic
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 lb fresh mushrooms sliced
1 60z can of minced clams (do not drain)
2 Tbs chopped fresh parsley or 1-2tsp dried parsley
1.5 tsp dried thyme
dash of cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste

Sautee onion, green pepper and garlic in olive oil 'til translucent. Add mushrooms and continue heating in covered saucepan for 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Serve over spaghetti noodles (May want to sprinkle with some parmesean cheese).
